Simple lamp is also called PAP lamp, or beam lamp. Its structure is to install mirror light bulb in the cylinder, and also to install reflective bowl tungsten bromide bulb. Its main characteristics are that it shoots a fixed beam and has a variety of angles, but its spot size cannot be adjusted.

The high-power astigmatism lamp is used to illuminate the sky curtain from up to down. It is required to be bright and balanced, and the illumination area is large.

Astigmatism strip lamp is a long strip, divided into multi grid, generally can be divided into three or four colors, each grid with incandescent bulb power of about 200W, requires a variety of colors to connect evenly, for large-area illumination curtain or painting screen use, can also be used as a large-area balanced light, all kinds of colors of light can be used at the same time, and can call out different color beams.

General astigmatism lamps, such as iodine tungsten lamps and ordinary floodlights, mainly illuminate a certain area evenly and make some scenery.

According to the scale of the theater stage, there are three kinds of surface lights: one surface light, two surface lights and even three surface lights. The configuration of the surface light should be based on the different distance, and the power of the spotlight and imaging light with different distance should be more than 2kW. The first surface light is close to the platform entrance, so some 2kW rib lamp and return light can be added. The first surface light and the second surface light should be equipped with light tracing lamps with suitable focal length and power at the left, middle and right positions. The light tracing personnel can independently control the brightness and color change of the light tracing lamps.

The ear lights are symmetrically arranged on both sides of the entrance. According to the scale of the theater stage, one or two ear lights can be set on each side. The lamps are mainly spotlights, and a small number of imaging lights and rib lights can be configured. Because the ear lights are very close to the side walls of the auditorium, when using the rib lights, the diffuse light often shines very bright on the nearby walls, which affects the atmosphere of the scene to a certain extent, so it is better to use less. A set of light tracing lamps shall be set for each ear light on the left and right for the control of light tracing personnel.

The foot light is generally located at the edge of the music pool outside the entrance of the platform, with a foot light groove, built-in four-color astigmatism bar light, color separation control, and its length is slightly less than the width of the entrance.

A long-distance light tracing room is generally set on the left and right sides of the back side of the auditorium, and equipped with gas discharge lamps such as xenon lamps. All control is operated by the light tracing personnel. If a special light tracing room cannot be set, light tracing positions are often set in the rear areas on the left and right sides of the building.
